Most current recorded work is Dave's first 'solo' album 'Lay down with dogs' which showcases a seasoned performer and songwriter in collaboration with some of the best musicans and writers in the business. Seven self-penned songs and co-writes with Dennis Walker (Robert Cray band writer and producer) Johnny 'Guitar' Crippen (Dr Feelgood) and Mal Eastick, who also appears as guest guitarist on one track. Other guest performances comes from Peter Wells, Mark Evans, John Russell, and a core band featuring Paul Robert Burton (Upright Bass), Paul Demarco (Drums) Steve Edmons (Guitar) & Mike Gubb (Keyboards)

Currently Dave performs in his duo with ex AC/DC bassist Mark Evans at the Bridge Hotel, Rozelle, Sydney, where, as "Tice & Evans" they have been resident every Thursday & Friday nights for the last 7 years, bringing their rootsy, hard-edged Blues and originals, in unplugged acoustic mode, to an ever growing following. The duo have recorded 2 independent live cds as "Tice & Evans" .Dave also guests at several blues & roots festivals (solo, duo or with his full band) & occasionally with Paul Burton ( "The Shuffle Kings").
