Global pop superstar and multi-hyphenate artist Amber Liu brings her ‘No More Sad Songs’ Tour to Australia & New Zealand in March 2024. Amber will perform her first ever solo headline shows Down Under, playing at Roundhouse Sydney on March 12, before heading to Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on March 14, Festival Hall in Melbourne on March 15 and wrapping up the tour at Auckland’s The Civic on March 18.
A California native, Amber Liu was discovered at the age of 15 at SM Entertainment’s global auditions in Los Angeles. Following a move to South Korea, she debuted in 2009 as a member of the female group f(x). The record-breaking electro-pop-based K-pop group quickly became one of the industry’s most popular and award-winning, accruing both domestic and international fame and popularity.
In 2015, Amber’s first solo release, the critically acclaimed album “Beautiful”, debuted at #2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, with the title track’s music video, released the same day, garnering more than 1 million YouTube views in its first day of release.
Over the past decade, Amber has been an advocate for body positivity and mental health, including when her “Where’s My Chest” message video went viral. She’s an accomplished producer and co-wrote the hit digital show on FICTO hosting “I’ll Ask The Stupid Questions” while directing some of her hit music videos. She has been a leader, mentor and host in many variety and travel shows, starred in movies and released an array of successful solo projects. Amber’s presence on social media continues to grow globally with more than 17 million followers across her Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Weibo, Facebook and more.
