On stage, they will be joined by legendary world champion turntablist, DJ Total Eclipse. Expect a big night of lyricism, wordplay, and hard hittin’ punchlines over boom bap instrumentals & super smooth dj cuts, scratches, beat juggles & body tricks..

The East Coast Kings Tour will take you deep into the heart of Hip Hop’s Mecca… giving you a royal tour into a part of the world where many kings have been made!

—------------------------

El Da Sensei, one half of the Newark, NJ duo The Artifacts, first stepped onto the Hip Hop scene after he and his partner Tame-One sent a rough demo to Bobbito the Barber at WKCR in New York. In 1994 the group released their debut album, Between a Rock & a Hard Place. Their lead single "Wrong Side of the Tracks" became an instant classic and The Artifacts quickly developed a cult fan base of hardcore hip-hoppers & graffiti writers and helped spark a new sub-culture in hip-hop called "backpackers". In 1996, the group followed up their debut with their sophomore album, "That's Them", spawning the underground hits "The Art of Facts" and "The Ultimate". Shortly after the release of the second album, El and Tame decided on an amicable break up. After the split, El went on to release a stack of solo material, some of which featured guest appearances from the likes of Sadat X of Brand Nubian, J-Live, Organized Konfusion, Treach of Naughty By Nature, Sean Price, Rakaa Iriscience of Dilated Peoples, Akrobatik, Bekay, John Robinson, Reks & Tiye Phoenix. Rah Digga and more. In 2009 at a Rock Steady Crew Anniversary event, The Artifacts would reunite for the first time in years. In 2019 their longtime friend and official DJ for over 22 years, DJ Kaos, sadly passed away. In 2022, the Artifacts released their final studio album, No Expiration Date, with Buckwild. Unfortunately it was the last album to be released in Tame One's lifetime, as he would pass away on November 5 the same year. El Da Sensei is now the last surviving member of the group and continues to travel the world, releasing new music and performing their classics, helping keep The Artifacts spirit alive!

Brooklyn NY’s own Ruste Juxx, is the 9th member of the legendary Hip Hop collective, Boot Camp Clik and began his career as the protege of the now deceased lyricist, Sean P. In his early days, Ruste was featured on a number of releases put out on the infamous NY record label, Duck Down Records. In 1998, he made his first official appearance on the title Magnum Force, taken from the eponymous album of Heltah Skeltah. In 2008, he released his first album, Indestructible, on Duck Down, which was produced by a young Marco Polo and Black Milk and executive produced by Sean Price. In 2009, he dropped The eXXecution featuring Black Moon, Sean Price, DJ Revolution, Rockness Monstah & more. Since then he has been one of the hardest working MC’s in the underground, dropping over 24 albums and count releases, often collaborating with artists from all over the world. He’s had placements on WWE, Netflix, ESPN and more.

DJ Total Eclipse is a member of the legendary New York DJ collective, The X-Ecutioners. Undoubtedly known as one of the best Turntablist groups in the world, DJ Total Eclipse was officially inducted into the group after winning the prestigious ITF World DJ Championships in 1996. Whether he is throwing down mind blowing trick sets, rocking clubs, festivals, corporate events or some of the biggest festivals in the world, DJ Total Eclipse always brings his A-Game. His reputation for skill, quality and consistency has earned him a 30 year career filled with highlights & accomplishments most DJ’s could only dream about. It’s no wonder he is often regarded as one of the best to ever touch two turntables!
