Martha is teaming up with other emerging artists in the local scene to give you a night of female-led indie music!

This event has been created to recognise and uplift emerging female artists in the Sydney music scene. As punters and musicians, it is very noticeable that the large majority of acts booked in local venues are male-led bands. We are excited to present to you a night which has been created by three young female musicians.

Martha is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Marrickville, who has been performing in local Sydney venues since she was a brace-faced kid. She is currently honing her production and engineering skills, in hopes of releasing independent music in the near future. Martha is studying Contemporary Music Practice at the Conservatorium of Music, where she has met and collaborated with many incredible musicians, including Allerdyce and Nicola De Sensi!

Allerdyce is an up and coming indie-pop artist from Sydney’s inner west, her sound tempered with a distinct mellow power. Her debut single, Cake for Breakfast, was released just last week.

Nicola De Sensi is a 19 year old contemporary vocalist/musician from Sydney, who has always had a passion for singing and performing. She has taken every opportunity to perform in musicals, choirs, eisteddfods and busking, and is now playing in venues. In her own words, “my sound will always be evolving, but I would describe it as R&B, pop and anything that expresses my authenticity”. Nicola is excited to release music in the future, and finds the emotional aspect of music the most captivating and fulfilling.

This is a Covid-safe show.  Pre-sale tickets only. No walk-ups.

Under 18s are welcome at the Petersham Bowling Club but must be accompanied by an adult.

The Petersham Bowling Club acknowledge the Gadigal of the Eora Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which this show takes place and pay our respects to their Elders past and present, and emerging and extend those respects to the First Nations peoples of NSW and beyond.
