Longhaired and bright eyed 6 piece melodic groove machine The Zilzies have spent 2016 in a van wowing the lower East Coast of NSW. With two eclectic demo's and a proven love to play live, the band have come leaps and bounds in the short time they've spent together. Thought provoking, reflective, and highly danceable, the sound oozes promise and simplistic wisdom. With an E.P. coming in 2017 to be produced by Dylan Adams (Sticky Fingers, DMA's), the next step for the band is in breaking out of the bedroom and expanding on the samples that saw their name climb the Triple J Unearthed Charts upon release.

Citing The Strokes, Tame Impala, Frank Ocean, Pink Floyd and Gang of Youths as major influences, and having already shared the stage with fellow Australian acts The Maze, El Grande, and The Kava Kings, the only way is up for the newest act to come out of Sydney's South. Single and official first taste of the E.P. "Honey (It's Alright)" is being released in conjunction with a sure to sell-out, one off show at Wollongong's Rad Bar on the 22nd of January.
