Event Details

Strawberry Boogie is a string of concept nights presented by boutique music agency Strawberry Visions, which aims to bring together a collaboration of all local creative culture. With a focus on music, these will also incorporate exhibitions of photography, live art and independent fashion from talented artists within the homegrown scene.

Music lineup: SheerKhan + Capital Coast + Split Visions

Live Art: Mel Chapman

Photography Exhibition: Sam Wallace

Independent Fashion Showcase: That's A Paddlin'

Keeping with the close to home theme, all proceeds from the night will be going towards Headspace's Illawarra Youth Health Centre.

The launch will see many familiar faces to the agency with SheerKhan making their return to Wollongong, after being locked away in the studio for the past few months recording their debut EP with Spookyland's own Liam Gordon. With this anticipated release including the first single 'Daisy' soon to be premiered, and a live history that includes sharing the stage with everyone from The Delta Riggs, Kingswood to Allday, it will be a treat to have them back in their hometown before all of this takes off.

No strangers to the local scene, Capital Coast will be making an appearance, rapidly building a solid following for their live show and recently supporting some reputable names from around the country. Rounding out the bill are Split Visions, whilst fresh to the scene have managed to gain attention of tastemakers and ears at radio locally and internationally alike with their debut EP 'A Long Time To Get Nowhere'.

A slew of superbly talented artists will be conducting their crafts on the night, with Mel Chapman undertaking live art, Sam Wallace exhibiting his photography work and independent label That's A Paddlin' showcasing some of their pieces.

Get around tickets ASAP, it's all going towards a great cause and of course the celebration of creative culture.
