Mega Fäuna is an all girl three person sized 5 piece from Sydney playing sparkly freak rock that celebrates Aussie landscapes.

All five band members lend their voices to each song, adding depth, energy and playfulness to the compositions like harmonious crickets at sunset. Lyrics are meandering yet intentional, often reflecting on ideas of self: in private, in a natural landscape, at home.

 With previous support slots for the likes of RVG, Dune Rats, Ruby Fields, PALMS, Body Type and Crocodylus; Mega Fäuna are already set as one to watch in Sydney’s music scene and beyond.

 Having previously released “Jacaranda” and “Romance Left For Bread” (featuring Flowertruck’s Charles Rushforth), “Desire Lines” is the first taste of the bands’ forthcoming debut EP. Recorded and mixed by Al Wright (Cloud Control, Vlossom) at Stranded Studios in Bellambi the EP is a lucious and sparkling taste of their full live sound.
