Hollie Smith is considered an icon in her native country of New Zealand having released albums that have achieved multi-platinum & gold status, and has performed all over the world including at the prestigious Montreal Jazz Festival in 2014, with one reviewer from the Jazz Times describing her appearance in Montreal as a "...powerhouse performance that captivated thousands".
Her show at Howler will be her first appearance in Melbourne with a full band, and is a prelude to the pending release of her much anticipated new album.
