As the release of their highly anticipated debut album 'Hills End' quickly approaches (out on Feb 26 through I OH YOU), DMA'S are pleased to announce the Australian dates for their worldwide Hills End Album Tour, taking in all major capital cities over May & June.

It's exactly 2 years to the day since DMA'S released their debut single 'Delete', a song which took them from complete unknowns to one of Australia's most exciting bands.

In the short 24 months since then, DMA'S have been busy. As word quickly spread about the band's highlighted performances at CMJ 2014 in NYC, DMA'S were quickly snatched up by respected indie labels Mom+Pop (FIDLAR, Courtney Barnett, Flume) and Infectious (alt-J, The Temper Trap) in North America and Europe respectively. This widespread love for their guitar-driven pop tunes has seen DMA'S tear up stages around the world, including festival appearances at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Osheaga, Outside Lands, Reading & Leeds and support slots with acts like The Drums (in London) and TV On the Radio (in Chicago) plus packing out their own headline shows in major cities all over Europe and North America.

Off the back of an EP and a 7" release, the Sydney boys have had songs added to BBC Radio 1 A rotation, had the likes of NME, The Guardian, Stereogum (to name a few) sing their praises, and have had their songs featured in the triple j Hottest 100. It's safe to say DMA'S have made a name for themselves, both at home and abroad.

Having just played to capacity crowds at Laneway Festival, with their latest single 'Too Soon' confirmed as a summer anthem and with major slots at Coachella & SXSW coming up, DMA'S are set to release their hotly anticipated debut album 'Hills End'.

'Hills End' was recorded partially in a studio in Coogee, Sydney, but "the most important" bits were done in Took's old flat at Buckland Lane. Every morning when he woke up, he'd flip the mattress against the wall, settle down to write or record, then flip it back down when it was time to sleep. He, too, was the album's main producer, foregoing someone with more knowledge to maintain the band's control over the results - with Dylan Adams taking on the engineering role. "We didn't have much engineering experience when we started, but it was all about the tunes," he explains nonchalantly. Mason adds: "I think there's something kind of nice about co-producing your first record. It's made it a really good representation of what the band are." Saying that, the band were open to suggestions when Dave 'Spike' Stent offered to mix the record, which he then did in London and LA last autumn.
