Over the past twelve months Children Collide have garnered a reputation as one of Australias must-see live acts. The punishing touring schedule they have undertaken throughout this period has allowed them to hone their skills and spruik their wares in all corners of the country. Now, the band are preparing to take their exceptional live show to the road in their biggest and most extensive headline tour to date, on the Chosen Armies Tour.

The first half of 2009 saw Children Collide cover a lot of ground. The wildly successful Farewell Rocketship tour was a completely sold out venture, leaving many a cranky punter grumbling outside their local venue. This time around the venues have been upgraded and more dates included than ever before. It will be Children Collides final headline outing before retreating into the studio to conjure up album number two. It will also be the first Children Collide headline tour to comprise both regional and all ages dates. Get in quick for tickets lest you end up one of the aforementioned grumblers.

Along with appearances on the national Big Day Out & V Festival tours, Children Collide played this years epic Triple J One Night Stand in Sale, Gippsland. They recently inked a US record deal with boutique label Filter Recordings and are currently undertaking their first extensive North American tour.

As with most Children Collide songs, Chosen Armies evokes vivid imagerythe armies are moving. They are always moving, and the dynamic nature of their own interwoven strands of destiny, reality and free will bind them together as their boots stomp a rhythm on a march towards the unattainable, sun-drenched horizon of hope.

It is in the spirit of all things hopeful and mysterious that the Chosen Armies clip is, to our knowledge, a world first. The 360 video allows the viewer to control all camera angles using their mouse, enabling them to watch whatever aspect of the video they wish through the entire clip, to literally see all sides of Children Collide. This baby is about to drop, so remain poised if you are keen to view history.

The Scare share a similar reputation for all out live shows. The five piece rock band have spent the last couple of years tearing up the roads both locally and internationally and have just polished off their Daniel Johns produced second album. The Scare will join Children Collide on all Chosen Armies dates. They have lurked in darkened alleys and destroyed stages from the Sunshine Coast to Birmingham, so be prepared for something truly unhinged.

Come September, Children Collide will embark on this Chosen Armies Tour, supported by Triple J, Triple J TV and JMag. This will be their last stand for some time. Children Collide will enlist audiences to their cause, whether they intend to join or not.
