The Beat Down presents their summer key event with a double headliner featuring bass royalty Plump DJs and Dillinja. With guests Adam Turner, Piglet and DJ Pressed.

Plump DJs
Plumps DJs are internationally renowned UK DJ/Producer duo Andy Gardner and Lee Rous, widely considered to be the co-creators of the Breakbeat genre in dance music. Self admitted suckers for bass and ‘the groove’, the duo fuse the favourite styles from their youth into what they call ‘Plump Music’. The creative hub from which Andy & Lee craft their sound, is to this day still sited in Central London’s Soho. The results of which have led the duo to the four corners of the world to perform via a four deck DJ show, notching up literally thousands of live appearances.

Dillinja
Drum and Bass has had its share of stand-out producers over the years but only a few can lay claim to possessing such a truly influential, innovative and ever-evolving sound as Dillinja.

With a string of hits already under his belt including Tear Off Your Chest, Deadly Deep Subs and Sovereign Melody, Dillinja alongside Lemon D went on to create Valve Recordings. Valve Recordings was one of the first pioneer labels who released Drum & Bass tracks just as the sound began to break away from Jungle, and would help the scene to discover its own sound and define its own culture.
