To celebrate the launch of Perth's most exciting new venue and the impending release of new music, SUPEREGO are excited to announce a special hometown show on Friday April 5 at Freo Social.  

The five piece hip hop group formed in 2016 as POW! Negro garnering buzz from their high energy live show and debut EP Jasmine & Licorice (with engineering from A Tribe Called Quest's long time mixer David Kennedy) which saw them tour Australia countless times selling out shows, playing prestigious festivals such as Womadelaide, Strawberry Fields, Groovin' The Moo & Woodford and being hand chosen to support acts such as Midnight Oil, Sampa The Great, Remi and more.  

2019 sees the group return to a stripped back format with a new live show and sound channelling influences from hip hop, jazz and electronic music as well as artists such as King Krule, Mount Kimbie, MF Doom and more. Their debut EP as SUPEREGO will be released in mid-2019.
