ONE SHOW ONLY - DOORS 5:30PM FOR EVERYONE! // Standing // Social Distancing Restrictions Apply // Sponsored by Young Henrys

“Self-described Offensively Average pop-punks SoSo headline The Lansdowne on the hometown leg of their ‘Yeah Nah’ single tour. Joining them are the energetic and enigmatic Deadshowws.

SoSo’s assertive new single ‘Yeah Nah’ finds them at their most forthright, diving headfirst into social commentary surrounding Sydney’s lockout laws and drug enforcement policies, through the use of quintessential Australianisms and gratifying pop-punk.

Discussing the inspiration behind ‘Yeah Nah’, lead singer Rhys de Burgh says ‘Yeah Nah originated as a bit of a joke song and ended up a rebellious, energetic earworm. The track is a big call out of the shitty lockout laws that killed so many Sydney music venues, archaic drug enforcement policies and the true enemy of live music – poker machines. Fuck pokies.’

To coincide with the release, SoSo have announced an accompanying NSW East Coast headline tour supported by Deadshowws, including shows at The Rhythm Hut in Central Coast, The Lansdowne in Sydney and Diamond Dogs Music Lounge in Dapto. The ‘Yeah Nah’ tour will also see SoSo support RedHook & FANGZ at La La La’s in Wollongong.

Previous singles have been widely embraced by Spotify and Apple Music, and Australian radio stations triple j, triple j Unearthed, 4ZZZ, SYN FM, Aussie Music Weekly, 89.7 FM and 96.5 Inner FM. They’ve also seen support from online blogs NME (AUS), Life Without Andy, Blunt Magazine, Hysteria Magazine, HEAVY Mag, The AU Review and The Soundcheck.

In the coming weeks, SoSo will reveal an accompanying music video for ‘Yeah Nah’ featuring social media personality Frenchy and shot on location at The Lansdowne Hotel.
