Shirazz returns to the Spotted Mallard with special guests The Slipdixies, who are launching their new album "We Got Fun!"

For over a decade Shirazz has held a reputation as one of Melbourne's most exciting dixieland bands, playing to packed houses and standing ovations across Australia and New Zealand. Expect the hottest jazz outside Louisiana as classic favourites, re-imagined pop and the odd cheeky original marinate in Shirazz's heady mix of hot trad jazz and swampy street beats.

Kicking off the celebrations will be the authentic 1920s & 30s stylings of the Slipdixies, launching their new album, "We Got Fun!"

The Slipdixies take their unique vintage sound all around Melbourne, regularly performing all over town and at many festivals in Victoria and interstate.

Enjoy old favourites, lesser known forgotten treasures from the world of spirituals, depression era blues, ragtime and traditional jazz.

"We Got Fun!," recorded live in studio, showcases a range of vintage jazz, ragtime, blues and ballads. All members brilliantly feature in varying combinations and instrumentation.

"We got Fun!" will be available for purchase at the launch.
