Parkville

Parkville are a chart-topping folk-pop trio from Melbourne's Dandenong Ranges. Cutting their teeth busking on the streets of Melbourne, bandmates Liam, Michael and Dylan soon developed a winning formula: a driving Mumford & Sons-style backbone embellished with rich three-part vocal harmonies and soaring violin riffs, taking influence from The Beach Boys and Punch Brothers.

The band's unique blend of thoughtful folk and driving pop is hard to pin down, darting between fierce, theatrical and deeply evocative. The one constant in their music is their powerful and unconventional use of vocal harmony, leading SYN Radio producer and Beat reviewer Paul Waxman to describe the band as “always great at producing heartfelt, acoustic journeys.”

Amy Pollock

Musician Amy Pollock spent her formative years honing her brand of ethereal, dark folk as a busker on the streets of Melbourne, Australia. Soon finding herself surrounded by an eclectic family of like-minded musicians, Amy immersed herself in the independent music scene and developed the mesmerising psyche she presents today.

Amy draws inspiration from artists such as City and Colour, Matt Corby and Pink Floyd as well as finding a particular affinity with the soundscapes of alternative folk and dark electronic artists, immersing herself in the textures and depths they create.

Amy’s independent releases have already attracted the attention of the triple j Unearthed team, with music director Dave Ruby Howe likening her vocals to Ben Howard and Daughter. Amy’s velvety voice and atmospheric instrumentals have seen her play alongside local and international acts including Little May, Jon Toogood (Shihad), John Floreani, Asha Jefferies, Ro, and Darren Middleton (Powderfinger).

A natural performer, It is very easy to get lost in Amy’s world, drawn in by her dusky voice and gentle ripples of acoustic guitar. 2019 is set to be an exciting year for Amy, with the launch of her new singles and videos through out the year.

Amy is currently working towards her first EP, which will be independently released in early 2020.

Suzi

Suzi is a 19 year old singer-songwriter from the Mornington Peninsula. With a strong focus on inclusivity and raising awareness of social issues, Suzi’s confrontational songwriting is designed to start a conversation. Her debut EP will be released independently early next year, however you can get a small taste of what’s to come via the links below.
