Recent Music Victoria Award winner Matt Joe Gow will play his first Melbourne full band show of the year at The Spotted Mallard, Saturday May 2nd. Joined by Music Victoria Award nominee Ben Mastwyk, who will support on the Saturday night, the two will then embark on a tour of Victoria throughout May and June, taking their contrasting brands of Americana to the Victorian public.
After a trying Summer for regional Victoria both artists felt it an important time to bring people together through a shared love of music; encouraging tourism and publicising the various and unique parts of of the state, whose communities have over the years embraced the music of both artists.
Matt will have his usual stellar line up of musicians in tow, the tour otherwise being predominately solo acoustic in nature. The night at The Mallard however will be even more unique with Matt and band launching a brand new single, which they will debut live for the first time.
