Dust of your pirate hat, polish your boots for what will unquestionably be the best yacht clubs so far in the history of nautical mayhem. We promise to deliver the very best line ups in electronica onboard the most exquisitely decadent vessel in Sydney harbor the Starship. No expenses are spared when it comes to massaging ones ear lobes with the best turbo sound system in the southern hemisphere. Martin Buttrich is the quiet achiever of techno music. Since his beginnings in Hanover, Germany in 1995, he spent a decade keeping his head down and working as a traditional studio producer. Producing records together with acts like Timo Maas and Loco Dice, Martin has released major tracks on high profile labels such as Planet E, Cocoon and Four:Twenty. Hes even had a Grammy nomination for his remix of Tori Amos Don't Make Me Come to Vegas. This guy knows his music and it is no secret that many other major artists seek out his help in order to push them to the next level.

In between all these amazing releases and projects for other artists, Martin has found time to push his own tracks out under his own name, and he has been involved with remixes for the likes of Carl Craig and Josh Wink. But he is not only a studio wizard, as you can catch him DJing at all serious techno clubs across the World. Martin pushes a relentless and absorbing deep techno sound in his sets, perfect for the lower deck vibe of the boat, and we are very happy to welcome Martin to the main room at this AGWA Boat Party.

Jazzanova is an innovative Berlin-based collective consisting of Alexander Barck, Claas Brieler, Jrgen von Knoblauch, Roskow Kretschmann, Stefan Leisering, and Axel Reinemer. Formed in 1995, the group is one of the foremost proponents of the nu-jazz, chillout and jazz house styles of music associated with record labels such as Compost Records and Sonar Kollektiv. They also gained recognition as innovative remixers for a vast number of acts such as Marschmellows, Ian Pooley, Incognito, 4Hero, M.J. Cole and Masters At Work to name but a few.

As one of Germany's most famous electronic music groups, they are hugely in-demand and have been remixed by the likes of Kyoto Jazz Massive, Ayro, King Britt, and Bugz in the Attic. They will be bringing their unique blend of jazz-funk and classic re-edits to the sun-drenched top deck of the Starship Sydney.

Having grown up in Berlin in the late 80s, Gunnar has had his whole music career shaped in the very heart of underground house and techno music. As a former event manager for Berlin based agency No Ufos, he has developed a style inspired by artists such as Steve Bug, Woody and Martin Landsky.

In 2004, with his success and hunger for more, he created the artist alliance "Edelmut with his friends Fabiano, Dj Krick and Alex Schuster. This gained him the huge level of respect needed to play at clubs such as Watergate and Bar 25. Deep in character, Gunnar spins a diversified combination between techno and house with an unmistakable bass line and a dramatic musical landscape. At present Gunnar is a key player in Berlins new generation of upcoming DJ's and producers. Playing alongside DJ's like Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Laurent Garnier and Sven Vath, he can be heard DJing in most of Berlins legendary clubs as well as the big summer festivals in the summer, including Sonnemundsterne and Melt.

Warming up the main room will be local DJ and Redlight founder, T-Boy. With a career that spans over 10 years and both hemispheres, T-Boy has DJed at some of the most famous and well respected club nights in the World. Spinning an infectious mix of tunes from the deeper side of house and techno, T-Boy is also no stranger to the AGWA Boat Parties, having DJed previously at both the Luciano and Seth Troxler events.

Also on hand to add even more groove to the party are the Co-Op DJs, James Scott and Neil Terry. Playing only the very best deep and disco influenced music, the Co-Op DJs will be flying the flag alongside Jazzanova on the top deck.
