Jazz

James Shortland is an emerging bassist in Sydney, eager to introduce his new band and a fresh set of original compositions. Over the years, James has had the privilege of performing at notable events like the Manly Jazz Festival. His musical journey has been enriched by the guidance of esteemed jazz musicians such as Warwick Alder, Andrew Dickeson, Kevin Hunt, Craig Scott, and John Harkins. Having immersed himself in the tradition of jazz, James hopes to offer an exciting musical experience by blending his original pieces with jazz standards.
