HY-FEST 2017: Wollongong's only annual rock, metal and punk festival returns.

The 7th annual HY-FEST is back at Diceys this December with a cracking line up of local and Sydney based bands!

This year we are raising a glass and hopefully some cash for our good mate Mick Gray who sadly passed away earlier this year and we encourage everyone to reach out to your mates and let them know what they mean to you.

Drawing on last years success the HY-TEST and Helter Smelter crew have again delivered a line-up that puts loud and ugly in the spotlight. You won't hear these bands on the nation's youth network, and that's the way we like it.

HY-FEST 2017 welcomes back the immortal and immoral Hard-Ons whilst saying hi to new friends in Neptune Power Federation, Hostile Objects and Meat Cake. We coaxed Bulldoze All Bowlos out from under the bar table, and we welcome back a re-energized Dead Rats. We also welcome local larrikins Rukus, Cape Tribulation, Naughty Naughty & The Good Boys, Legal Aliens and Night Goat to the party.

HY-FEST has a no dickheads policy. It's simple; if you're a dickhead who gets racist, sexist, homophobic, violent or just generally too loose, best you sit this one out.
