HORSE DRAWN CADILLAC has been on quite the ride since their last gig at Lazybones and it’s going to be a humdinger as they celebrate the first weekend of Spring with a full tilt boogie…

it will be their only appearance here for 2023, and the band is going to take the night a big one, with a “bootleg” album launch of live recordings!

The Cadillac continues to evolve into a big band with a palette of sounds from Chicago based blues, to raw Missippi stomps, and a healthy dose of original swampy country,blues, and funk from those southern regions … an 8 to 10 piece on the night, including the Island Sushi horns!

It will be a Special night, so much more so as the band will be joined by THE SPECIALTIES, led by HDC saxman Wayne Rigby , specialising in Blues, Soul, Jazz, and Alt Country, with the incredible powerhouse vocalist Shannon Carswell and one red hot rhythm section. The band  recently picked up 5 nominations from the Sydney Blues Society 2023 Blues Awards.
