Hoot McKloot started in ’87 with an abrasive punk/ska/rock style fuelled be a musical diet of anything from Bad Brains to Public Enemy. The result was a style unique to Adelaide at the time and saw the band join Mark of Cain, Hot Tomatoes, Filthy Scumbags, Order of Decay as label mates on Dominator. The ensuing years saw the release of a self titled album and sound that could take you from a bouncing reggae nod along to pogo-ing, circle pit-ing madness with a single chord change. On 17th August a reunited Hoot McKloot will bring their ska tarred power punk to Enigma for one night only. Pull on your kilts, pull up your boots and get ready to bounce.
