A country girl with an international heart, Gleny Rae Virus believes music can inspire and change lives. A passionate educator, Gleny left the east coast in January 2021 to teach music in Alice Springs and fulfill a calling to work on community with indigenous children. Winner of a Golden Fiddle Award and Australian Folk Music Association Instrumentalist of the Year in 2021, Gleny is launching her new single "Ribcage" at Lazybones on the leap year day!
The evening will be opened by the fabulous and sultry Zoe K, then launch into a bluegrass set by Gleny Rae Virus and the Grass Brazoos, culminating with a set of country and honkytonk.
