Named after an anthem penned by the founding father of forró and maestro Sanfona (Brazilian accordion) player - Luiz Gonzaga - Sanfona Sentida plays classic and contemporary electrifying Brazilian folk music and forró-pé-de-serra – ala Dominguinhos, Sivuca, Jackson do Pandeiro, Camarão, Marinês, Elba Ramalho, Bicho de Pé, Trio Dona Zefa, Mariana Aydar, and Mariana Melo. 

Their show revolves around the dynamic and virtuosic Brazilian accordionist Ricardo (USP/TomJobim, 2 anos com Rastape, Estudante de Meninão do Elba Ramalho), with the pocket-rocket vocals of Paulina - reminiscent of classic Marinês (Rainha do xaxado) and Elis Regina, alongside sizzling Brazilian percussion. 

They’ve guested and charmed audiences at 2019 Sydney forró festival, and various arraiás and festa juninas in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
