FACT, the famous weekly party, was born during the Sonar Festival in 2010 and is held every Saturday in the summer at Space Ibiza, and has a residency every Friday at Discotheque in Barcelona, hosting events such as Moon Harbour Showcase, Minus Showcase, Flying Circus, now delivering events around the globe.....through 2010/11 we have been delivering a World Tour to cities such as London, Berlin, Paris, Rome, Zurich, Toulouse, Venezia in South America, Puerto Rico and now for the first time in Sydney, Australia.

FACT is all about gathering friends, good vibes, nice people and music lovers coming together to enjoy nice top quality sounds all under one name...and no place could be better to introduce FACT to Australia than Tank.

Satoshi's music career began at an early age when his parents encouraged him to study the piano. He trained for an admirable ten years, developing a distinct passion for Jazz. Soon after the sound of Hip Hop provoked him to start his foray into DJ'ing and production. Then came house as Satoshi became fascinated by the early Chicago mix-tapes he was hearing. Since his seminal hit "Tears" back in 1989, he has gone on to become a major part of the acclaimed Def Mix crew. Satoshi has also remixed and worked with the likes of Photek, Kosheen, Simply Red, David Bowie, U2 and Mariah Carey, just to name a few.

In 2001, Satoshi Tomiie launched his own label "SAW.RECORDINGS". It was Satoshi's desire to create a platform from which he would be able to showcase ideas and creativity that are more experimental. Satoshi's Saw Recordings label has carved out a niche and has earned a formidable reputation for credible club grooves. Taking its name from a sound wave, the company has to date unleashed over 60 singles along with 4 albums including Chab's sublime variety of rock, electro and house tracks, SLOK, Guy Gerber, Audiofly X, Jim Rivers, Nick Chacona, Nathan Fake, Lexicon Avenue and Satoshi's own mix compilations ES and ES-B.

The last few years have been all about DJing for Satoshi. This Japanese New Yorker has been virtually everywhere you can think of in recent years. He only spins in his home city (Tokyo) every six months or so; the rest of the time he's traveling, using the Big Apple as a second home which also serves as a handy midpoint between Asia, South America and Europe - where a lot of his gigs are.


JAVI SAMPOL (SPAIN, FACT)

Javi was born in Barcelona in 1986 and discovered electronic music in 2002. His love for the music and influences of Marco Carola , Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos gave him the desire to start djing. Since then, he has not stopped crafting his skills, buying records and shaping his own unique style. With time, he became a highly skilled dj and started confirming his first bookings in the Barcelona club scene.

Javi had collaborations with Undrez in the famous City Hall in Barcelona, called Club 4, owned by Cristian Smith, Adam Beyer, Paco Osuna and Marco Carola. His style is defined as a mix between Deep and Tech House , Minimal and Funky Techno. Javi adds his own salsa to his music by using a special set up that allows him to create a particular atmosphere and control every aspect of his diverse mix.

Right now Javi Sampol is working on several projects. He is one part of FACT. In 2011 Javi started his newest project, Wildl!ive, a very well-known name in Barcelona, monthly events at The One Club, one of the best underground spots in Condal City. Javi has toured Europe and is currently continuing his tour around Australia. Ounce every two weeks resident at Audi[O] a successful Saturday night on the Sydney club scene.
