24 piece Big Band

Dr V’s are regular performers at Wangaratta and Manly Jazz Festivals and have previously graced the stage at Angel Place recital hall. Don’t let the name fool you though, the swing thing is a big band of big sounds ranging from Count Basie swing to samba and contemporary big band jazz arrangements by Bert Joris and others. They are joined by two singers, Jo Fabro and Lisa Abbott, for this performance.
