- Sleep Talk
2019 saw the release of Sleep Talk's critically acclaimed debut album Everything in Colour, which led to back to back national tours with Ocean Grove and Whatever Forever and support slots with Turnstile and Citizen, Hellions and West Thebarton. Sleep Talk will finally get a chance to celebrate their debut album Everything In Colour and embark on their own album tour across Aus this October with local Adelaide friends colourblind and Perth outfit Flowermouth*. Sleep Talk are used to embedding the catharsis of their songwriting into their performances as a stunning riot of emotion, sound and physicality and this upcoming album tour will be no exception. Tickets to the Everything In Colour Album Tour are on sale now via Moshtix.
colourblind formed in April 2017, merging their respective influences of punk, indie, hardcore and shoegaze to record and release their first demo in July 2017. Given their strong DIY ethic and heavy gigging schedule since its release, the demo was extremely well received and allowed them to build a strong and supportive following.
Their debut single, "Water" is the leading track from their upcoming debut EP, "Move Like You" and was released the 14th of September with an accompanying music video. "Move Like You" was made available on all major streaming service on November 2nd.
colourblind have shared the stage with great international bands such as Casey (UK) and Carb on Carb (NZ), as well as national acts British India, Clowns, Whatever Forever, Bugs, Belle Haven, Saviour and Sweater Curse.
They have played with other big names from Adelaide such as Horror My Friend, Sleep Talk, Hindsight, TOWNS, Paradise Club and Madura Green.
FLOWERMOUTH are a four-piece alternative rock band from the southern suburbs of Perth, WA.
The boys are set to release their new single and video for 'Gown' on May 1st 2018. Described as a blend between the synth-driven sounds of 1980's The Cure and modern Aussie rock, the underlying pop/indie feel of the song will undeniably place them in the spotlight of a wide range of audiences.
Since starting in 2013, FLOWERMOUTH released a demo and two EP's before going on a year-long hiatus, in order to pursue passions outside of the band overseas. After coming back in 2017 with the single 'Serotonin', they have been busy playing consistently again while they write their first album.
Their fast and loud live performances are reminiscent of the punk music that its members grew up in, and the melodic style incorporated in their songwriting represents a natural progression drawn from many wider influences. FLOWERMOUTH bridge the gap between Australian pub rock and the signature sounds of Run For Cover, No Sleep and Sub Pop Records with their own stylistic flair.
4 guys from Wollongong combining the sounds of rock, grunge and punk to create sick tunes.
