Secret Sounds along with Adelaide based Five Four Entertainment and Groove are thrilled to announce SUMMER SOUNDS FESTIVAL, a new SA Health approved concert summer series that is set to bring live music, summer sounds and all the party vibes back to South Australia!
Rolling out the good times at the lush, oh so central and easily accessible Bonython Park, Adelaide from 08 January to 31 January, Summer Sounds’ 16 date run of shows includes Aussie icons, triple j favourites, a bunch of the hottest newcomers and a couple of supersized sing-alongs.
Patrons will have the choice of booking a VIP, Gold, Silver or Bronze Party Pod. Each pod is an island oasis for a group of 4 or 6 people and decked out with its own esky of pre ordered drinks and tasty snacks.
Singing…check. Dancing…check. The Party Pods are ready for all the action you’ve been missing!
Alongside pre ordered drinks, patrons will be able to order additional beverages at the show through the Summer Sounds event app, which will then be delivered directly to their Party Pod via a fleet of golf buggy mobile bars. It’s the VIP treatment you’ve always dreamed of!
For those who need a little extra snackage on the day, alongside the pre order options there’ll also be a range of food trucks at the ready.
So check out the lineup, wrangle your mates and get ready to return to live music programming as usual this December and January as Summer Sounds brings the festival feels back to Adelaide
Being one of the most iconic voices in Australian music history, singer/songwriter Bernard Fanning’s career has seen a wild success in both the legendary Rock group, Powderfinger and his own solo work, consistently pumping out classic Aussie summer soundtracks. Fanning’s break from Powderfinger in the early 2000’s saw the 2005 release of Tea & Sympathy, which included household name tracks like Wish You Well and Songbird. Whether it be a Powderfinger track or a solo release, Bernard Fanning takes you on a nostalgic trip back to your favourite memories.
SOMETHING FOR KATE
Since debuting in 1996 with their singular deconstruction of indie-guitar rock, Something For Kate have gone on to bend the musical landscape to their will, becoming a critically-acclaimed Australian institution predicated on sticking to their guns. Occupying a unique place in the musical landscape, the band has been a household name for decades. Their music has proven difficult to classify; cerebral, subtle and fiercely original, bending the will of audiences to their particular brand of guitar-based science-fiction folk-rock to amass a massive cult-like following.
