ATTICUS BASTOW ‘.KARA’ Album Launch with special guests STEVEN SOCHA, MIRIS and TOBIAS BRODEL
Melbourne-based sound artist Atticus Bastow launches his debut full length album '.KARA' amidst a night of delicate, textural, and experimental music at The Toff in Town. In recent years Atticus' performative installation pieces have been presented at events such as MONA FOMA, The Metropolis New Music festival, and the Liquid Architecture festival of Sound Arts. September 11th marks the premiere of a dedicated live electroacoustic performance practice, debuting alongside the album, entitled .KARA released on the Monsaic Lines record label.
Atticus Bastow will be performing a live 4-channel surround sound mix, and will be joined for the evening by experimental composer Steven Socha, the audiovisual tapestries of Miris, and sound artist Tobias Brodel.
