Releasing the timeless hyper-pop classic ‘Sassaparilla’, Muki’s ‘It Won’t Hurt’ EP landed her the support slot of 5 Second of Summer’s arena tour. Her song writing skill secured the pop savant two ARIA Award Nominations for her work on Jessica Mauboy’s #1 record ‘Hilda’ and Briggs’ ‘Always Was’ EP, as well as collaborations with Slayyyter, Cosmos Midnight and The Veronicas. On her solo material, Muki, blends her love of hyper-pop production, dance ballads and 80’s pop icons, crafting a uniquely raw and emotional body of work. Recent single ‘I Make Boys Cry’ is an industrial pop sucker punch that received praise from BBC R1, Dork, Triple J and Sheesh Magazine. It was followed by ‘Space/City Limit’, chosen as Song of the Day on The Line of Best Fit and BBC R1’s Next Wave. 

The Sydney-based future-pop artist is now set to release her follow-up body of work, 'Car Crash Through Your Heart: Part 1' on June 18th 2021, sonically and visually inspired by Ridley Scott's 1982 Blade Runner with a very special launch show at OAF Gallery on August 12th. Welcome to the Mukiverse.
