Welcoming very special guests:

- The Kava Kings

The Kava Kings' are a collection of salty haired boys from south of Sydney. They embody the sound and lifestyle of the beaches and will make you delirious with their crunchy coastal tunes.

The boys have shared the stage with Aussie favourites such as John Butler, Ocean Alley, Winston Surfshirt, The Rubens, Eskimo Joe, Lime Cordiale and Birds of Tokyo as well as international acts such as Ozomatli (USA) and The Skatalites (Jamaica).

Seeing a song in the exact same colour is not an unusual experience for brothers Tommy and Chris. This unusual phenomenon adds a new dimension to the music coming out of this Southern Beaches band. Tommy and Chris grew up in sync, creating the bands sound based on a shared experience of music.

In 2017 and 2018 the boys ditched their van and headed across the seas to embark on two European tours. They brought their explosive live show to audiences in Italy, Austria, France, The UK, and Surfana Festival in the Netherlands, representing Sydney's finest on the world stage.

2018 will be a big year for The Kava Kings as they gear up to release their newest EP, which they've been working on with engineer and producer Joel Quartermain (Eskimo Joe). If you ask the Smithson brothers, to describe their latest track 'Friends', they'll tell you they see it in shades of green. however if your not a synesthetic, you could say 'Friends' explores the experience of growing up and the all too familiar notion of drifting apart from the ones we thought we'd always have. The boys describe the new direction they are heading in as a step away from their roots and a move towards incorporating more rock and electronic elements.

- Wharves

WHARVES are a four-piece indie rock band based in Lennox Head, NSW who are one of the most exciting bands emerging on the Australian indie rock scene.   Teaming up with producer Steven Schram (Paul Kelly, Tiny Little Houses, San Cisco), WHARVES have continued to produce a raft of exciting dance driven indie rock tracks, receiving attention from triple j and community radio across Australia. This culminated in WHARVES' highly acclaimed debut EP album Sooner or Later released in October 2018.   WHARVES new single 'BLAME' will be out worldwide on 2 August 2019.   More recently, WHARVES will be heading to Europe and the UK to support DZ Deathrays and Planet on a huge 14 stop, 5 nation tour in September/October 2019 before heading back to Australia for a headline tour.

- Greta Stanley

IHot on the heels of the release of her stunning new EP Sun In My Eyes, the Cairns singer/songwriter has just announced her own headline tour, complete with band in tow. Throughout November, she'll be showcasing the new EP live alongside favourites from her debut album Full Grown.

On top of that, triple j Unearthed has also just premiered her new clip for 'Pour' - a remarkable tour de force from budding young filmmaker Brendan Schoenmaker.

Schoenmaker approached Stanley about doing a video for her as his final year project at Griffith Film School. Together with producer Nicole Collet, he managed to rope in popular comedian, former triple j Breakfast host and star of The Other Guy Matt Okine to play the lead role.

Okine said of the project "Every single element caught my attention - the song is amazing and the concept for the clip was great. It felt like they wouldn't let me down - I sensed that they were the sort of people with the drive and ambition to make this happen."

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Michel Gondry, David Fincher and Spike Jonze, the result is closer to a short film than a typical video.

- Dolphin Dog

Dolphin Dog is a 4 piece indie rock band from Wollongong, Australia. Melding sounds like jazz, folk and rock n roll. This rare creature can be spotted at local venues around the Wollongong area and is always on the lookout for opportunities to groove further afield.
