Enigmatic powerhouse, Watty Thompson has emerged as a striking and entirely unique performer-songwriter in Australia’s storytelling tradition. A little bit country, a little bit folk, and 100% heart, Watty’s high-energy sets lay bare and embrace the highs and lows of everything that makes us human.Following a herd of achievements in 2022, Watty Thompson now presents 'City to Run' and its accompanying music video, the third single from his upcoming debut LP. (Cheatin’ Hearts Records). Following the release of the single, Watty and his band are set to embark on an 18 date tour of Victoria and NSW including the 'City To Run' single launch at The Brunswick Ballroom on Friday October 28th. This will be Watty and the band's first time returning to the big smoke since their now legendary packed out five-week July residency at The Gem. Watty and his Total Fire Band will be joined by special guests Our Carlson and Queenie & Her Band.

Brunswick Ballroom will be operating under the current Victorian State Government guidelines as we continue to live with this pandemic. 

The venue will be taking a number of precautionary measures to ensure patron safety, including:
 - Hand sanitiser dispensers
 - Signage and social distancing markers throughout the venue
 - Regular sanitising of the venue and full clean between sittings

The Brunswick Ballroom also strives to improve our practices when it comes to sustainability and to reduce our carbon footprint. We don’t sell or provide plastic water bottles.

Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Photo Drivers Licence, State Approved ‘Proof of Age’ card or Passport.
