TR|N|TY & The $luts

If Miss Pop was more mysterious and secretly hung out with Mr. Punk they would have a child called TR|N|TY. Singer-songwriter and budding producer Jade Walker, has created this alter-ego to allow herself to explore and share parts of herself otherwise hidden. Creating gloomy-angst-existential-pop that your grandparents (probably) won’t like.

Raised in Western Sydney and growing up on artists such as The Prodigy, Eminem, Gwen Stefani and The Black Eyed Peas, Jade is riddled with a sickness, the low end junkie-it is. While she is still perfecting her ideal produced sound, the need for a strong bass and kick tone is crucial. This creates a juxtaposing situation in Jades music, as her vocals have been described as melancholy, airy and “omg you sound like Kate Bush”. The mixture of her vocal and bass tones, create a dark and moody atmosphere, that is personalised with the addition of her instrument, the Ukulele.

Who Jade is, is not who TR|N|TY is. While Jade is the one who writes and produces the songs, TR|N|TY is the driving force. Jade is a silly-goofy goose, the worlds cheerleader who loves creating, not performing. TR|N|TY is stylish, sassy and carefree, she is all the imperfections (bit unhinged), while simultaneously, is perfection.

Harriet Bennett

Harriet Bennett, supported by her band Me and My Hag, provide the audience with alternative rock that is dripping with nostalgia, pearls and a pensive attitude.

Born and raised on Darug land, she is heavily influenced by the bushland and by artists like Courtney Barnett, Nick Cave, Julia Jacklin and Mazzy Star. Harriet’s ethereal lyrics waltz with the heavier sounds of her band to create a space that welcomes the audience to have a little dance and little cry (if they so choose).

Airline

Airline is a band based in Sydney and Wollongong made up of 3 boys who like to play loud soft music. Wearing multiple influences on their collective sleeve, Airline’s sound sits somewhere between heavy rock and dream pop.
