Melbourne ensemble The Yugotones will be playing traditional and popular folk music from the era and area of former Yugoslavia which will keep you dancing all night. The ARIA Award winners The haBIBIs will kick off the night with their fantastic blend of Balkan, Greek and Turkish tunes. D-Jinn will be spinning your favorite Balkan tunes to push the party limits. The YUGOTONES
Enamoured with traditional folk music, as well as more recently composed folk-based songs from 60s, 70s and 80s, The Yugotones aim to capture the spirit of the Balkans of the bygone days and relay it to Australian audiences. The band performs high energy Yugo-folk material from such legends of the region as  aban auli , Ljuba Ali i , Halid Be li and  erif Konjevi , as well as more traditional folk numbers and lost gems from the vaults of now defunct recording companies.

The HABIBIS
The haBiBis perform music with passion and intelligence, which can move a listener of whatever ancestry". Doug Spencer ABC radio. ARIA Award winners for Best World Music Album,"The haBiBis weave the guitar, lute and bouzouki with consummate ease, in wide chiming choruses and intricate dances over which voices cast seductive spells" Rolling Stone.They perform exquisite  music from Greece, Anatolia, Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean as well as contemporary ballads and songs from the modern Greek repertoire. The haBiBis are Irine Vela (laouto, bouzouki, guitar) Pascal Latra (vocals, baglama, percussion) and Mulaim Vela (Guitar ).
