The last 12 months have been a wild ride for songwriter, Timothy James Bowen. 2015 brought Bowen commissioned works with Virgin Mobile Australia, a brand new EP, a national Australian tour with Grammy nominated act, The Milk Carton Kids, multiple cameo performances at the world renowned Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, TN. and a song he co-wrote, 'From Here On Out', being chosen for the U.S. TV show, 'Nashville' and their subsequent series 4 soundtrack.

At Christmas time, however, he was unexpectedly diagnosed with end stage Lymphoma and was given two weeks to live. Having endured an intense chemotherapy regime, he returned triumphantly to the stage in May, while still completing his last round of treatment, to open for and play alongside his sister, Clare Bowen, of the hit U.S. TV series, 'Nashville', for her inaugural and sold out Australian tour. His show at the Wesley Anne on the 15th of December will be his first performance in Melbourne for 2017 and will be the launch of his brand new acoustic EP. With even more music planned for release in the coming months and a new lease on life, it's sure to be a great year ahead.
