Event Details

Since forming early in 2018, The Social Norm have delivered their iconic grungy hardrock-punky sound (think early Silverchair mixed with Nine Inch Nails) throughout Sydney and the east coast touring their debut vinyl EP 'Generic Success' extensively. Highlights from 2018 included playing Marrickville and Meltdown Festivals as well as receiving broadd radio airplay with their singles 'Blows My Mind', 'Beard', 'Less Is More' and 'Left For Dead'

The Social Norm return to Canberra with a brand new record 'Payroll No. XYZ'.
-'Transit bar is definitely one of our favourite places to play ... I have lots of ties to Canberra, It's always fun coming back!' -Tim (front man)

-'It's a bit different now, Like Timmy is fronting us from the drum kit and we're a three piece, we have our good mate Chachi doing guitars and Tim is sampling a lot of the synth parts.  It's funny though, the show is actually more powerful than before' - Shanks (Bass)
