With some of Sydney's finest musicians by her side, Beth Mclachlan presents SOUL SOUNDS - Celebrating the Smooth Soul Sounds of Anita Baker and Maxwell...On the success of her promoting debut show late last month, Beth Mclachlan has decided to do it all again!! She has assembled a wonderful group of musicians to celebrate the music of two amazing soul artists, Anita Baker-multiple Grammy Award winner, composer, producer, mother and all-around superstar and Maxwell.

Anita Baker, has six albums under her belt and six Grammy awards, two each for Rapture, Giving You The Best That I Got and Compositions. Anita Baker's rich and entirely distinctive alto voice has invited comparisons that range beyond the world of contemporary pop to include mention of such legendary jazz figures as Sarah Vaughan and Nancy Wilson. One of the leading performers in the field of sophisticated black adult pop in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Maxwell, performer by night, Maxwell waited tables by day. Eventually he recorded a demo tape and in 1994 he was signed by Columbia Records and began working on his debut release. The album, which was eventually named Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite,sold 2 million copies, he then followed this up with an EP and 3 more studio albums........

And so with the soulful Sarina Jennings on lead vocals, (Anita Baker )

One of Sydney's most hard working vocalists, and a feature vocalist in many successful shows that rotate around Sydney's premier venues. Her versatility and range allow her to sing in dynamic cover Bands such as Peter Northcote's Sunday DRIVE residency, as well as shows like, Rumours Fleetwood Mac, Quincy Jones Back on the Block, The Bee Gees Tribute Show, The Starlettes, Hot Legs, The Summer of Smooth Jazz, The Woodstock Festival Tribute, Women in Rock, The music of 60 & 70's, Inxs, and so on just to list some of the shows..

A seasoned performer that exudes SOUL, Cheyenne has a powerful vocal range and a tone that lends itself to some of the greatest: Stevie Wonder, Prince, Al Green, Donny Hathaway, Ray Charles, Michael Jackson; all of whom have influenced his life and inspired his tireless commitment to performing. He has shared the stage alongside and as a backing vocalist with the likes of Seal, C&C Music Factory, Jimmy Barnes, Karise Eden (Winner of The Voice Australia 2012) Darren Percival aka "Mr Percival" (The Voice Australia), Mahalia Barnes (The Voice Australia), Prinnie Stevens (The Voice Australia), Carmen Smith (The Voice Australia), Jason Heerah, Simon Olson & Aaron Mendoza (Electric Empire) and Angie Narayan (Australian Idol).
