The Holidays will launch their second album Real Feel with a national tour. The tour will kick off in Queensland with the band making their way through city and regional venues around Australia.

The Holidays have already given fans a preview of the record with the release of singles Voices Drifting and current single All Time High, both available now on iTunes.

Both tracks give an insight into the mood and feel of The Holidays' evolving sound and second album; an offering that was painstakingly created over two years across countless cities and continents.

Debut album Post Paradise captivated both listeners and critics. Accomplishments for the band included the Red Bull Award for Best Debut as part of 2011's Australian Music Prize and Best Album at The Age's annual EG Awards in 2010. The band played sold out shows across Australia as well as headline and festival dates in the UK and USA.

Global music press continue to praise The Holidays music:

'Arena-sized romanticism.' - Pigeons and Planes

'Pure escapism.' - The Line Of Best Fit

'A much more mature sound... the time they've taken to produce their new music is clearly paying dividends.' - Indie Shuffle

"Euphoric with a sense of nostalgia" - EARMILK

Lead singer Simon Jones describes the album as "A travelogue of the last few years, ideas sketched in different places while experiencing something; wonder, isolation, stress, happiness. Then slowly taken apart and scrutinised and run through amplifiers and synthesisers only to find that often the original feeling was the purest and then joyfully getting back to that."

"This was a difficult record to make, always searching for a sound just beyond our grasp, narrowing in and trying to capture some essence. I had an idea for a sound that I couldn't quite name or explain, a vague feeling, somewhere between love and loneliness, like a daydream where you can't quite remember the content but the feelings you had remain. I guess that's what this album is, trying to make real the intangible feelings of a few years of living."

'Real Feel' will be released 21 February through Liberation.
