THE DELUSIONS

What started as a small garage band of a few dads with many delusions, has evolved over the years into what can only be described as a large garage band with more delusions and an even bigger fun factor. By bringing youth with talent into the group, The Delusions have grown to a 18 member band that has raised the average musical standard of the dads purely by association. They will cover many of the songs that the dads have grown up with and introduce the younger generation to what real pub music was all about. Playing to sell-out gigs each year, this rare opportunity to see The Delusions perform should not be missed.

About The Music 

The Delusions are a mercurial band.  With 17 band members, it is an ever changing band throughout the night. The music moves through the decades and genres depending on the singers and which instruments the band members play at that time. The music spans pub rock, disco and pop.  Music from the 80’s 90’s and covers from artists such as AC/DC, Blues Brothers, ABBA, Portugal the man and Earth wind and fire will remind you of songs you forgot you liked but will get up and dance or tap your foot to.  It is a rollicking good night of music, fun and dance.

Great Southern Nights 2024 will take place from 8-24 March 2024 featuring more than 300 gigs across 17 nights throughout Sydney’s inner city and Western Sydney, as well as shows in seven key music communities across NSW, including Tamworth, Wagga, Newcastle, Wollongong and the Northern Rivers.
