Stanley Records, Mother Hen Touring and Post To Wire are proud to present the launch of their brand new CD compilation documenting the contemporary Australian alternative country scene. Spread over three CDs and 47 tracks, Take Me To Town surveys the musical landscape of troubadours, singer-songwriters and country rock bands and celebrates our rich and communal music scene.
Across 2 floors at the Spotted Mallard you'll be entertained by an amazing cross section of acts featured on the compilation.
Upstairs, there's Melbourne locals Eaten By Dogs, Skyscraper Stan & The Commission Flats, Dan Brodie (in full band mode), Lachlan Bryan & The Wildes and The Weeping Willows. Plus, from Sydney, Adam Young & The Down Main and Dave Favours & The Roadside Ashes.
Downstairs, you can catch solo performances from Bill Jackson, Katie Brianna (Sydney), Ben Leece (Newcastle) and Mitch Power.
This will be a chance to raise a glass to some of our country's finest music and pick up a copy of this landmark compilation.
Kaiju Beer will be available on the night.
