SWIRL FEST '19
After two highly successful editions, SWIRL FEST returns once again with an exciting line-up of local and interstate bands. Finding a new home across two stages at the Crown & Anchor and Chateau Apollo, SWIRL FEST '19 promises to be a diverse and joyous affair.
Swirl Records is proud to announce the third edition of 'SWIRL FEST', an annual celebration of local and national live music. The last two editions of Swirl Fest have managed to hit capacity at their respective venues. This year, in a hope of allowing more punters to attend, the festival will be held across two stages at the Crown and Anchor hotel and the Chateau Apollo. Once again Swirl Fest will be sporting a co-headliner bill. Headlining the Chateau stage will be up-and-coming psych rockers, Baby Blue. After the recent release of their impressive EP 'Do What You Like', Baby Blue embarked on a string of shows across Australia, including a spot on MTV Unplugged. We look forward to welcoming them back to Adelaide with open arms. Headlining the Crown and Anchor stage will be Perth alternative rockers, FOAM. After releasing their debut album last year to great success, FOAM have once again proven themselves to be one of Australia's best live acts. Supporting these bands are a plethora of local and national talent. Swirl Fest will also be the resting place for local legends, SIAMESE. Having called it quits earlier this month, SIAMESE will be playing their last show ever at Swirl Fest. Festival goers will also see the highly anticipated return of Adelaide shoegazers, Little Dust, who have not graced the stages in over a year.
