Remedy is back and bringing their new DJ battle series to Perth!

Remedy Promotions was founded early in COVID-19 isolation following some DJ banter between PHDNB (Perth) and Aradale (Brisbane), leading to the first Coast2Coast DJ battle live stream. Defyre (Perth) joined the Remedy team after this battle, bringing his 17 years of experience in the Hip Hop and Drum & Bass scenes. Together, they have hosted 7 Coast2Coast online events in 2020 between Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney; a 2-part online event for the UK vs AUS DJ throwdown; and 2 live events. Now, they are bringing their unique vibe to Perth, with the new “Squad Up” series…

The idea is simple: 

• 2 squads of 5 DJs battle it out LIVE, hosted by Defyre & PHDNB
• DJs get 30mins to throwdown their flavour
• Each squad organises their DJ order, though a coin toss determines first to play, each crew rotating throughout the event
• There aren’t winners or losers as such, but the Coast2Coast series proved DJs bring their A game
• Expect sass, support, and to find new fave selectors!

Remedy’s third "Squad Up" event features DJs from promoter crews PachaMama Gatherings and Stand & Deliver Productions.
