Son of Nyx was the sublime 2021 modal-jazz release from Tamil Rogeon (Raah Project, Harvey Sutherland Bermuda). Featuring spacey synths and soaring viola, the record drew inspiration from the spiritual jazz and jazz-fusion movements of the 60s and 70s. 

When Rogeon’s seven-piece Son of Nyx band last graced the Night Cat stage, they hypnotised a packed house. They’re teleporting back to Johnston Street in November, bringing new material and fresh cosmic experiments. Herbie Hancock, Jean Luc Ponty, Alice Coltrane.
