Sleeper Cell with Amadeezy (USA), Tinika & ZULI (Egypt) - Good Friday Eve

“Bass Boss” Amadeezy established Boston’s leading trap/dirty south party PVRPLE in 2012, bringing dirty south rap pioneers including DJ Paul of Three Six Mafia, Metro Boomin and Manny Fresh to the Massachusetts scene, inspiring Deezy to produce hard hitting dance trax that rep all manner of electro, house, techno and hip-hop thru to G-styles like juke, jit and ghettotech. Deezy’s standout records include the thugged out East Side G-Ride EP for Australian label International Chrome & Freaky Deezy for Partiboi69’s Mutual Pleasure - to a stack of hyper hip-hop influenced house records for Moveltraxx. Racking up mad support from the likes of Mall Grab, Egyptian Lover and Cinthie to Ellen Alien and I Hate Models - Amadeezy’s jams have made their way to Boys Noize BBC Essential Mixes & DJ Stingray Boiler Room sets - with no signs of easing up on their 808-foccused takeover of soundsystems across the globe.

ZULI is a multi-instrumentalist & producer from Cairo responsible for some of the wildest drum forward sonic experiments in recent years. Their sound is a mind bending blend of hip-hop, D&B and bass music with flourishes of footwork and soaring glossy ambience, resulting in abstract club tracks that fold inwards on themselves over and over again. It is intense, yet impossibly seductive in its polyrhythmic nature. Dropping on labels such as Lee Gamble’s UIQ, recieving support from heavy hitters ranging from Aphex Twin, Autechre, Ben UFO & Bradley Zero, ZULI is all caps in both name and in sound and we’re amped to invite them to melt The Night Cat’s dancefloor this Good Friday Eve.
