Nu-Jazz - Music to move your body, move your mind, move your soul

Skyline Sun, originally from Australia and now based in Berlin, is a nu-jazz project that brings a fresh and groove-focused approach to jazz and improvised music. Under this musical moniker resides the talent of producer and multi-instrumentalist, Jarrah Dhyan. With his latest releases Skyline Sun has garnered significant attention from acclaimed platforms such as JazzFM UK, WorldWide FM, Soho Radio, Twisted Soul, Kalab, Vibe Rating, and FIP Radio, among others.

Born out of the vibrant and ever-evolving music scene in Berlin, Skyline Sun has become known for his ability to infuse jazz with a modern sensibility. Drawing inspiration from various genres such as hip-hop, r’n’b, soul, and dance music, he seamlessly blends traditional jazz elements with electronic and experimental sounds. His music is a testament to his unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of contemporary jazz.

Skyline Sun's musical journey began with his deep-rooted passion for guitar. As he honed his skills, he soon realized that his musical vision extended beyond the instrument itself. Eager to explore new avenues of expression, he delved into the world of production, discovering a realm where he could craft intricate soundscapes and manipulate textures to evoke emotions in his listeners.

 SEEN HERBIVORE
Inner West based jazz(ish) group Seen Herbivore merge high energy, vitamin dense grooves with unfettered improvisations, sending listeners on a journey that is equal parts captivating and enriching. Consisting of six stalwart and fibrous members of Eora’s live music scene, the band has been known to haunt venues both locally and interstate. Seen Herbivore, under the care of native Adelaide saxophonist Tom Andrews, pays homage to an eclectic array of influences, from contemporary jazz artists Butcher Brown and corto.alto to legendary Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti.
