That's right you heard correct SISQO from Dru Hill will be performing LIVE at Mystique Nightclub in his only Brisbane show on Tuesday 27th September 2011

Mystique is taking you back for one night of the smoothest R&B as SISQO performs all his classic solo hits and the greatest jamz from DRU HILL....

This distinctive silver-haired singer established his performing credentials as a founding member of highly successful urban R&B quartet Dru Hill, who enjoyed transatlantic hits in the late 90s with singles such as 'Tell Me', 'How Deep Is Your Love' and 'These Are The Times'.

Though each member of Dru Hill brought unique talents to the group, Sisqo quickly established himself as its most charismatic figure. Sporting silver hair, a tattooed torso, and a cache of dance moves reminiscent of Michael Jackson, the singer also emerged as an avatar of quirky street fashion. Sharing concert bills with the likes of Puff Daddy and Mary J. Blige, Dru Hill undertook a world tour in 1998 that was highlighted by an invitation to perform at a birthday celebration for South African President Nelson Mandela. By year's end, the group had garnered five Billboard Music awards, two Soul Train awards, an NAACP Image award, and had received nominations for two American Music awards.

Sisqo signed a new multi-album deal with Def Jam that called for solo albums to be released. The production expertise of Babyface helped forge an impressive whole out of a diverse range of styles. Sisqo wasted no time launching his solo career releasing "Unleash the Dragon" in November 1999. Co-produced and co-written almost entirely by Sisqo, the CD featured material that was more pop-oriented and up-tempo than Dru Hill's ballad-heavy R&B. Fueled by the frenetic MTV favorite "Got to Get It," the album achieved impressive sales from the start, but it was the racy "Thong Song" that propelled the CD to No. 2 on the Billboard pop charts. Dubbed "the official anthem of Spring Break 2000" by MTV, the song quickly became the most-played video on the network, which helped to send Unleash the Dragon to multi-platinum status.

Following commercially successful guest appearances on DMX's "What These B*****s Want" and Lil' Kim's "How Many Licks" that kept him in the spotlight while he spent time in the studio, Sisq re-emerged in the summer of 2001 with Return of Dragon, his attempt to prove that "Thong Song" wasn't just a novelty success. Featuring production by Teddy Riley on the lead single, "Can I Live," the album certainly seemed positioned for mammoth success.
