Five piece Alt County n Folk band Sal Kimber & The Rollin’ Wheel will be playing their first Melbourne headline show in over 12months with a family friendly matinee at the Spotted Mallard on the 10th Feb, with support by good friend Nick Lovell and his cracking new band

Kimber and the Rollin Wheel throw a little more caution to the wind, the results setting them apart from the myriad Australian alt-country / Americana acts treading the boards today. Tied together by Kimber’s liquid voice, vocal harmonies abounding, this album is the mark of a band pursuing something other than the norm, other than what’s perhaps expected. 

And where it all comes to glorious life of course, is on stage, the live setting where Kimber and The Wheel are truly at home, bringing these songs to life in front of the very people – hardworking, honest, you and me – they’re writing about.
