Pop Princess Royal Drue hits the stage at The Night Cat with the debut of her own live show after years of performing with some of Australia's best talent; Baker Boy, Client Liason, Emily Williams, Sunshine and Disco Faith Choir and more. Renowned for her powerhouse vocals, captivating lyrics and electric stage presence, prepare to be blown away by one of the hottest live acts to enter the chat room. Joined by electronic pop goddess NUSSY and R&B baddie Jay Gabriel, you’re not going to want to miss out on one of the most exciting debuts of 2022.

Royal Drue is a 25 year old Singer, Songwriter and Pop Artist based in Melbourne, Australia who has already had an accomplished and lengthy career in the Australian music scene. Drue has curated an impressive list of achievements as both a songwriter and vocalist. In 2022, she took to the stage as feature vocalist for Baker Boy at his headline St Kilda Fest show and on select dates of his ‘Gela’ album tour; she is also the lead singer and vocal director of acclaimed Gospel/Techno crossover project Sunshine and the Disco Faith Choir which recently signed to Lonely Lands Agency alongside Tones and I, Tash Sultana and Boy & Bear. The project has also garnered a cult following after headlining Melbourne Music Week, Sydney Festival, Wine Machine and appearing on the cover of Beat Magazine. Royal Drue has penned Triple J number one hit songs and worked as a session backing vocalist touring and recording nationally and internationally with some of the country’s biggest names including famed duo Client Liason, beloved comedienne Em Rusciano and platinum selling artist Emily Williams, and has performed at some of Australia’s biggest venues and festivals; The Forum, AAMI Park, MCG, Strawberry Fields and Golden Plains.

Royal Drue has been heralded for her powerhouse vocals, captivating lyrics and electric stage presence, and despite being a self professed “pop rock diva”, her influences are wide and unique. A product of her upbringing, Drue cites P!NK as a major influence, she was her “childhood hero” and her “reason for starting music”. Since then Royal Drue’s artistry has been heavily influenced by other Pop/Songwriting powerhouses including, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Rina Sawayama, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry.

Drue is already a respected and sought after session musician in the Australian music scene, but now it’s time to share her years of hard work and step into the world as a fully realised artist; now is the time for Royal Drue.
