Come party for the release of Rory Tiganis-Hannan’s long-awaited debut EP, Interphase. Expect an evening of jazzy, soul-dipped groove-filled tunes, with Melbourne music heavyweights Laneous and Banksia supporting.

Rory (drummer/composer) is an innovative, genre-blurring artist who leads a band of singular musical weapons, each member bringing their own fire to the mix. Inspired by Nate Smith, Herbie Hancock, D’Angelo, Tony Williams, and Yussef Dayes, their performances deliver nu jazz/fusion layered with soul and hip-hop influences.

Laneous – Melbourne-based neo-soul, jazz, funk, and R&B innovator, praised by Nai Palm (Hiatus Kaiyote) as “a genius.” Laneous will be joined by a special guest.

Banksia – Five-piece nu jazz band from Naarm/Melbourne, delivering tight grooves and a fresh voice in contemporary jazz that’s turning heads locally and abroad, melding influences from hip hop to house music.
