Brunswick Ballrooms present PROMISES PROMISES: The music of Burt Bacharach and Hal David was performed by Janet Ross-Fahy in a two-hour concert spectacular. They are two of the most important and influential composers of 20th-century popular music. Between the 1950s and 1980s, their collaboration earned them 6 Grammy’s and 3 Academy Awards.

Producing 73 Top 40 US hits and 52 Top 40 UK hits. Their songs have been recorded by over 1000 artists, including Dionne Warwick, Cilla Black, Dusty Springfield, Tom Jones, BJ Thomas, The Carpenters, and Christopher Cross, just to mention a few.

Internationally acclaimed vocalist and recording artist Janet Ross-Fahy, whose exceptional range, coupled with her flawless technique, enables her to cover all styles of music. Janet has worked with many of the world's best-known recording artists and with many decades of television experience and live performances covering jazz, pop, soul, cabaret, and theatre and is certainly an artist of international standards throughout Australia and overseas. Her voice is unmistakably her own with influences of her idols, but still maintains her own unique and distinctive sound along with her four-and-a-half octave vocal range.
