We’ve just nudged past the halfway mark of 2013 but it’s already been action packed for Melbourne’s Owl Eyes. Following the successful release of her debut album, Owl Eyes is proud to announce that ‘Hurricane’ will be her fourth single from ‘Nightswim’. If the past can be any indication, this single will no doubt ignite even more hype and fascination around one of our country’s most promising performers.

Always one to keep busy, Owl Eyes is also proud to announce the Nightbeats tour, with emerging electronic acts Willow Beats and The Kite String Tangle on support duties. Taking in a number of major East Coast cities including Canberra and Wollongong plus two Tasmanian dates, the tour wraps up at the Fat As Butter festival in Newcastle.
 
So far this year, Owl Eyes has released her debut album 'Nightswim' and taken it on the road, serenading her loyal and passionate fan base in Australia's major cities. The first single from the album, 'Love Runs Dry', received strong daily rotation on triple j, and reached #21 on the Australian iTunes charts. Consequent singles 'Closure' and 'Nightswim' and their respective remixes have seen similar success, in addition to incredible international online acclaim, including two appearances in the Hype Machine Top 10. As well as performing her own music, Owl Eyes has been on tour lending her vocals to Australian electronic DJ duo Flight Facilities, including a much-lauded performance at the sold-out Splendour In The Grass.
